:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Myria Candies -- Wow! : This was stunning. Definitely a new type of thriller. Romance, mystery, and psychological elements ... what's more to ask for? It took a moment because the topic of the parents hit a little close to home...but Allison did an AMAZING job with this! As much as I wanted to hate the main character for what she had done, I couldn't. I was finding myself feeling for her the entire way. I think I liked the ending the most because it was done in a realistic manner which is super important. I loved that it was an open-ending to the reader so they could infer what happened. Overall, this book was incredible. I implore anyone who loves a good thriller to pick it up and give it a read. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2021 )

- 5.0 out of 5 stars from lily felling -- Emotional and Full of Suspense : O…M….G! I loved this book so much! I was constantly on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. Although I was able to guess the major plot twist, I thought it was very well written! The characters felt very real to me. The main character definitely had many struggles going on in her life. This shows that life isn’t perfect. Not all romance stories are going to be happy and perfect. I think that’s why I loved this book so much. This book held so much emotion and suspense. I normally hate cliffhangers, but I think this book was written really good that the cliffhanger made me even more excited! I hope that there will be another book, as I have many questions regarding her parents, her best friend, Nathan, Kiera, and the relationships between them all. This was a beautifully written story!
